Danny Bevins' "Inappropriate" To Be Released By Rooftop Comedy Productions On June 12, 2012
June 5, 2012
San Francisco – June 2012 –
Rooftop Comedy, the leading interactive media producer of original comedy content, is thrilled to announce the release of Danny Bevins’ sophomore comedy album: Inappropriate. The album will be available through retailers including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and RooftopComedy.com and will also be available to stream on Pandora, Spotify, and Last.fm. Danny will also appear on Showtime’s new stand-up series, Live from Amsterdam, airing June 14.
Danny Bevins has been called many things: juvenile delinquent, soldier, flight attendant, patient, husband and lately "disturbingly hilarious". His mouth has gotten him arrested, fined, and fired from every job he’s ever had, but for the last ten years it’s propelled him to tour the world and perform on some of the most prestigious stages in comedy. Danny has appeared on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend as well as the prestigious HBO US Comedy Arts Festival. The son of an evangelical and a Green Beret, Bevins straddles the line between temptation and authority. He’s loud, audacious, opinionated, cocky, animated, charming, irreverent, sarcastic, facetious, ridiculous, and dangerous.
On his new album, Inappropriate, Bevins opens up about his own parents as well as how to balance life as a touring comic with the responsibilities of being a father and husband. He’s also got some frank takes on inbreeding, the abortion debate and, of course, the often misuse of the term “inappropriate”. As he did on his first album, Danny Bevins manages to push us out of our comfort zones while making a lot of great points, often saying what many of us may think but wouldn’t dare share with others.
Previously released recordings from ROOFTOP COMEDY PRODUCTIONS include: Tommy Johnagin’s Stand-up Comedy, Grammy® Nominee Sandra Bernhard’s I Love Being Me, Don’t You?, Hal Sparks’ Escape From Halcatraz, Moshe Kasher’s Everyone You Know Is Going To Die, And Then You Are, W. Kamau Bell’s Face Full Of Flour, and Tom Segura’s Thrilled, among others.
