Aliph – maker of the market-leading Jawbone Bluetooth headset and inventor of NoiseAssassin®, the world’s first and only military-grade noise-eliminating technology – today launched its first user-generated video campaign, the "Jawbone Stimulus Funny Video Contest", with a grand prize of $10,000.
"Jawbone users are passionate, creative, and love to talk, so we thought a user-generated video contest would be a fun way to stimulate some conversation," said Michael Williams, Director of Product Marketing for Aliph. "It's a chance to engage our community, share some laughs, and raise awareness about the benefits of talking on a Jawbone."
How to Enter
Starting today through June 1, 2010, Aliph is calling on comedians, filmmakers, and creative types to submit short videos, one-minute or less, that showcase humorous moments caused by unwanted and unexpected background noise during a phone call. The theme of the contest is "I wish I had a Jawbone."
How to Win
Video submissions that exhibit the most creativity and stimulate the most laughs will be awarded cash and other cool prizes. The winning video will receive $10,000, be featured on Jawbone.com, and possibly used in future Jawbone marketing campaigns. Prizes will also be awarded to those who share video submissions with their friends (i.e. generate video views by sharing personalized video links).
