Allie Rolison grew up in Waxahachie, TX as the gay daughter of a conservative Southern Baptist preacher which has provided an abundance of comedic material. In Waxahachie there are more churches than restaurants, more cattle than people, and Wal-Mart is considered upscale shopping. Now Allie lives in Austin; where homeless transvestites run for Mayor, cars run on alternative fuels, and college students run on vodka and energy drinks. She tries to stay in touch with her roots by occasionally attending the hippie led Sunday gospel brunch at the local taco shack. Allie hates patchouli but she does love a cold beer to wash down those prayers.
